Our journal will now also be focused on Public and Population Health. Why this is important for Internal Medicine? Population health has been defined as "the health outcomes of a group of individuals, including the distribution of such outcomes within the group". Public health has been defined as "the science and art of preventing diseases", prolonging life, and improving quality of life through organized efforts.
